The principals of TPPA, Natasha & Patricia, have both danced since the age of two, and have years of teaching experience both in the USA and Australia. They have performed in, choreographed for, and trained students for numerous competitions, performances and examinations. Performances have ranged from retirement homes and fetes through to state and regional competitions, including invitations to compete at the American National Finals in Las Vegas. All of the teachers at Turning Pointe have a great love of dance, and hope to pass this passion onto our students. Dancing is not only fun, but also improves and develops flexibility, co-ordination, strength, stamina, and a huge amount of confidence. We understand how important it is for children to develop these things, and to enjoy a physical activity that boosts self esteem. We have a fun and friendly atmosphere and pride ourselves on teaching proper techniques in fun and positive ways. We have specialised troupe classes for the hard working dancers who compete in competitions and perform throughout the year.
Each year we have a fully themed concert, with singers, actors and audience participation. All classes perform a routine, and it is always the highlight of the year. All of our costumes are designed and made with cost in mind.
